Front Desk and Concierge Clerk : The front desk concierge position requires participants to check in hotel guests, perform transactions, answer guest questions, speak over the phone, and any other tasks required by the supervisor on duty. Also, you might be required to set up and take down the continental breakfast. This position requires participant to have excellent English skills. Meals are available when working for a reduced rate. One meal per shift.
Host/Cashier/Take-Out : The cashier/host/take-out positions are responsible for using our computer system to take orders, closeout open guest checks, greet guests, seat at specific tables following the seating chart, make change for guests, answer guest questions about the menu/restaurant, and be a smiling face that represents the restaurant well to the general public! An outgoing personality and willingness to talk with guests is essential. Past experience as a cashier or working in a restaurant is a plus. Please note that this is not a serving position. Meals are available when working for a reduced rate. One meal per shift.
Kitchen Support : Kitchen Support job responsibilities include but are not limited to; food preparation, cooking, dishwashing, cleaning, and other tasks assigned by the manager. This position may involve some cutting or chopping of fruits/vegetables, using a toaster for items such as bread or muffins or using other cooking methods/utensils. An interest in the kitchen and cooking is a plus! Positions will be assigned as directed by the Manager. Must be okay with any tasks assigned that are in the kitchen. Must be able to stand for the duration of your shift and lift up to 18kg. Additional cleaning tasks may be assigned by the kitchen manager. One meal may be available per shift at a reduced rate
Cafe Attendant : The café attendant position responsibilities include but are not limited to; daily set up of continental breakfast, making coffee, baking muffins, cooking eggs, ringing up guest orders, using the iPad to calculate totals. Cleaning up after breakfast and preparing for lunch. Doing dishes using an automated machine and by hand for larger items, Loading, rinsing, sorting, stacking/organizing all dishes. Applicants must be okay working with sanitizer and cleaning detergents. Also, it will be necessary to work with sharp objects such as knives and other cutting tools, and hot items such as toasters and ovens. **Participants will be assigned housing based on gender and dates of arrival. You may be placed at one of 3 housing locations in close proximity to the Resort. In addition to the on-site dormitory-style housing, there are a few other nearby housing options that the employer will assign to the participants based on their arrival and companions. Rent and deposit may be different according to the housing. Please note that groups travelling together may or may not be able to be housed together. Housing placements will be made at the discretion of the host employer.
