Housekeeping, Laundry : Located near Jordan Creek Town Center, Drury Inn & Suites West Des Moines serves both business and leisure travelers, offering steady housekeeping schedules in a busy and growing suburban area. Housekeeping team members are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and comfort of guest rooms to ensure an excellent stay for every guest. This position is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, dependable, and take pride in providing quality service.
Key Responsibilities :
Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms including mirrors, sinks, toilets, tubs/showers, floors, and walls.
Change bed linens, make beds, and restock rooms with fresh towels, toiletries, and other amenities.
Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, clean windows, and empty trash.
Push and maintain a 50 lb (23 kg) housekeeping cart throughout the shift.
Inspect rooms for maintenance or repair needs and report issues promptly.
Restock linen closets and supply carts as needed.
Assist with laundry or other hotel departments when required by management.
Performance Standards:
Clean stay-over rooms within 15 minutes and checkout rooms within 30 minutes.
Maintain inspection scores of 15 points or less on all cleaned rooms.
Physical Demands:
This is a physically demanding role requiring regular standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and pushing throughout the day.
The position is not suitable for individuals with sensitivities to cleaning products or physical limitations that would prevent the completion of required tasks.

Scheduling & Independence: Work schedules and days off are assigned based on business needs and may differ from friends or coworkers. Hours are not guaranteed.
Adaptability: Be prepared for both busy and slower days. Work hours and tasks may vary, and employees may be sent home early if business levels are low.
