Busser :The Busser supports the front-of-house team by maintaining clean and organized dining areas, assisting servers, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role is essential for keeping the restaurant floor running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities: Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently between guests. Remove dirty dishes, utensils, and glassware from tables and transport them to the dishwashing area. Arrange tables and chairs upon guest’s departure.
Sweeps around and under each table/chair upon guests’ departure. Cleans highchairs and booster seats. Remove seats from tables when not in use. Cleans handrails and steps on a regular basis. Ensures areas are free of hazards. Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned. Refill water glasses and assist servers with beverage or food delivery when needed. Maintain cleanliness in the dining room, including floors, chairs, and service stations. Set tables with proper utensils, napkins, and other necessary items. Restock server stations with supplies such as silverware, napkins, condiments, and glassware. Support servers by responding promptly to guest needs and special requests. Follow all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.
Food Runner :The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, ensuring a smooth flow of service and a high-quality dining experience. This position works closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to support the front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities: Promptly deliver food and beverages to guests' tables as prepared by the kitchen. Ensure all items are presented properly, according to restaurant standards. Confirm food orders are complete and correct before leaving the kitchen.
Assist in explaining dishes to guests if needed (e.g., ingredients, sides, temperature). Delivers food to the correct person at the correct table.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen expo line and service areas. Support servers by refilling drinks, clearing dishes, and responding to guest needs when possible. Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient service.
Assist in resetting tables and maintaining a clean dining area. Handle food with care, following all health and safety guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.
