Job Description

Dishwasher: Participants hired as dishwashers will operate and handle delicate commercial kitchenware with elevated standards of quality and attention to detail. They will provide reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude in a high energy environment.

Job duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Cleaning, washing, drying, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment per company standards and specifications in a fast-paced kitchen environment. They will inspect, clean, and maintain equipment, chemicals, and linens, as well as maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage spaces. Also, they will assist with stocking kitchen and organizing products, and complete sanitization and food safety protocols and logs with assistance and direction from management. General cleaning is required and additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

Prep Cook: This position involves being a part of creating culinary experiences for guests and team members. Participants will prepare carefully crafted dishes with elevated standards of quality and presentation. They will provide reliability, dependability and a positive attitude in a high energy environment.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to: Preparing and producing food per Company recipes and specifications on a kitchen line and prep area in a fast-paced environment and food preparation and stocking workstation to ensure success for business demands. Participant will maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage spaces, stock kitchen, organize product, and inspect food quality. They will also complete food safety protocols and logs with assistance and direction from management, and contribute effectively to a positive guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

General cleaning is required and additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

Room Attendant: The Room Attendants are the foundation of an excellent stay at the property. Participants will provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests and team members, ensuring that all of our visitors have a clean home-away-from-home. Participants will clean and sanitize guest rooms and guest areas while supporting our safety standards and assisting guests as the need arises. The Housekeeping team is made up of a diverse group of inspiring and passionate individuals who have fun working together on a daily basis.

Job duties for this position include, but are not limited to: ensuring all assigned rooms and/or areas are clean and sanitized by end of the shift, removing all used linen and rubbish and process as reviewed and communicating with supervisors and other team members for service or technical updates, requests or concerns. Participant will also maintain organization for all housekeeping storage areas and ensuring they are clean of clutter and free from cross-contamination. They will complete regular projects and deep-cleaning, interact and communicate with guests, providing property-specific and local information, answering questions and communicating concerns to supervisor while creating memorable moments for our guests.

General cleaning is required and additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

Housing

$15 per person per day(Employer)
**Employer provides housing in dormitory style rooms and participants will receive 3 complimentary meals per day. Rooms will be shared by 2-4 participants and there are large dormitory style bathrooms available for all participants. Bedrooms will be gender specific but males and females will share the common areas. Participants in housing will have access to a recreation center with a TV, pool tables, foosball, a movie room, as well as laundry facilities (soap provided), employee internet, and bed linens are provided. There is also an employee bar available in housing for residents who are 21 or older. There is a bank, small grocery store, and a gas station near employee housing. Weekly shuttles to Fairbanks begin in June. This placement is located about 2 hours southwest of Fairbanks. Participant must be comfortable living and working in a beautiful but remote area of the Alaskan wilderness.

Transportation to work

Employer provides transportation to and from work. Employee shuttle departs every hour on the hour from employee housing to the lodge.
