Housekeeping : Housekeeping duties include cleaning guest rooms and stocking appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner. This includes, but is not limited to, picking up trash, changing bed linens, making beds, cleaning entire bathrooms, sweeping and dusting guest rooms, cleaning windows, and restocking terry and room amenities. Responsibilities also include retrieving, stocking, restocking, and storing the housekeeping cart.
Housekeepers clean and supply all daily assigned rooms and report all damage, mechanical issues, suspicious activities or theft in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards. Housekeepers follow all safety and security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.
Housekeepers will receive assigned sections (board), keys, and any priority room requests from the head housekeeper/inspector/front desk or management. Housekeepers respond to guest requests and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Duties also include reporting any missing articles, damage, or mechanical problems to the direct supervisor and turning in and reporting any items (labelled with Room Number, Date, and Who Found It) left in a room to the lost and found. Housekeepers coordinate with direct supervisor on correct thermostat temperature and special projects or tasks before leaving for the day.
Participants must report to work in the proper uniform, including approved nametag. Participants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and be comfortable dusting and using common cleaning chemicals. Participants must also be able to work for extended periods of time while standing, squatting, bending, kneeling, lifting, and twisting while doing repetitive hand and arm movements.

**The housing will be on-site at the hotel in a double queen suite hotel room. Two participants will share each room, and rooms will house the same gender. Each room has two queen beds, a living area with a pull out couch, a television with cable, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchenette includes a sink, garbage disposal, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, dish ware, and a hot plate. Participants will have access to all of the hotel amenities including the pool, fitness center, and an outdoor patio where gas grills are available.
