General Restaurant Employee : The Okoboji Store Bar and Kitchen is a team environment where participants are guided through training and coaching. Participants should feel comfortable learning and executing tasks listed below and other duties as assigned.
Assigned duties include but are not limited to: general cleaning, stocking items, prepping and cooking food, clearing and setting dining tables, and washing dishes. Use of cleaning chemicals will be required when washing dishes and cleaning. Additional duties may be assigned by their supervisor as necessary.
Participants will be scheduled for at least 40 hours per week during their program with the Okoboji Store. Additional hours are available if desired by participant. We will assist in finding the appropriate number of hours for each participant understanding each individual’s unique needs.

Housing
Housing Cost $1,200 for entire season. Housing will be payroll deducted incrementally throughout the season based on length of participant’s program.

**Housing is provided by the employer. Housing assignments will be assigned at the discretion of the employer upon arrival. The employer has proactively secured this housing because reasonably priced, affordable accommodations in the area are very limited. Any participant who moves out of the employer-provided housing will lose his/her job, housing deposit, and previously paid rent. Participants live in a shared house or a shared condo. There are full kitchens and living rooms and laundry facilities on-site at all locations. Full kitchens will include stoves, ovens, microwaves, cooking equipments, and utensils. One condo has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Participants will share a room with one other participant. Four participants total will live in this condo. The second condo has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Participants will share a room with 1-3 other participants. Up to 8 participants will live in this condo at one time. The house will have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Four participants will live in each room with 8 participants total living in the house. The cost of rent will be deducted automatically from paychecks incrementally throughout the season. Residents will review and sign a document upon arrival that verifies their understanding of the rent payment process. If participant’s employment ends for any reason, including taking a job at another company, they will be asked to move out of the housing.
