Housekeeper : Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning guest rooms, including bathrooms, and common areas. Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and physical activity are required. This position requires working with cleaning chemicals. General cleaning and other tasks may be assigned by supervisor as necessary. Work hours fluctuate depending on business and participants should expect to work on the weekends.

In order to make a reservation, participants must complete a housing contract. This can be found at www.uwsuper.edu/student-life/living-on-campus/summer-housing/community-members-and-guests/. Click on “Reserve Your Room” and then follow instructions listed to complete the “Short-Term Summer Housing Contract.” You will need to fill out the contract and email it to the email address listed. Two participants will share a dormitory room. Roommate requests should be made on the contract. In order to be placed together, both participants must request the other person as a roommate on the contract. Participants who do not want to share a room must pay more for a single occupancy room. Rates are subject to change. Exact pricing will be provided to participants when they make their reservation. There is a dresser, bed, desk, and closet for each person in the room. The bathrooms on each floor are communal bathrooms with individual lockable stalls with a shower, sink, and toilet. A kitchen and laundry are also shared on each floor. Payment will be made to the main office at UWS, either by cash, check, or credit card. Housing is only available from May 22 to August 5. The employer will assist in providing housing after August 5 for approximately the same price. UWS is on a bus route and walking distance to McDonalds and Burger King. There is a Super One grocery store about a mile away that is also on the bus route. Bike storage is available inside the dormitory, as well as outside on racks. HOUSING CHANGE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IN EARLY AUGUST When university students return in early August, participants will move into Hampton Inn for the remainder of their program. Participants will share a hotel room that offers two full beds, a bathroom, and a mini-fridge and microwave. Two participants will share a hotel room for $120 per person, per week.
