Housekeeping : Housekeepers will clean and supply all daily assigned rooms and report all damage, mechanical issues, suspicious activities, or theft in accordance with all housekeeping procedures, standards, and safety and security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.
The essential duties for this job are cleaning guest rooms and stocking appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner. This includes, but is not limited to, picking up trash, changing bed linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and dusting, cleaning windows, and restocking linens and room amenities.
Responsibilities include retrieving, stocking, restocking, and storing the housekeeping cart. Duties also include responding to guest requests and reporting guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Housekeepers will receive assigned sections (board), keys, and any priority room requests from the head housekeeper/inspector/front desk/or management. Housekeepers report any missing articles, damage, or mechanical problems to the direct supervisor and turn in and report any items left in a room to lost and found (labelled with Room Number, Date, and Who Found It). Housekeepers also coordinate with direct supervisor on correct temperature of thermostats and on special projects or tasks before leaving for the day.
Housekeepers must report to work in proper uniform, including an approved name tag. Participants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and be able to dust and use cleaning chemicals. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.
Housekeeping Plus : The Housekeeping Plus position will include Housekeeping duties as well as the opportunity to work Front Desk and/or Breakfast Attendant duties when needed.

Front Desk duties will include, but are not limited to, answering the telephone, greeting guests, registering and assigning guests to hotel rooms, verifying credit or handling US currency, and ensuring guests have a good experience.
Breakfast Attendant duties, include but are not limited to, preparing food, cleaning, and keeping buffet foods fresh. Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and physical activity are required. Participants must be comfortable handling pork and alcohol.

**The housing will be on-site at the hotel in a double queen room. Each room will be shared by two participants and will be house the same gender. There will be two queen beds, a living area, television with cable, and a bathroom with a shower in each room. Rooms will have a mini refrigerator and a microwave, and participants will also have access to additional microwaves in the guest breakfast area at specific times. Participants will have access to all of the hotel amenities including the pool, fitness center, and outdoor patio.
