Bakery/Deli Assistant : Participants will work in the Bakery making and packaging pastries, cakes and breads, AND/OR, the Deli making sandwiches, salads, and preparing and serving hot meals to customers utilizing excellent customer service skills. Operation and cleaning of the vertical dough mixer or the deli slicer will not be required. Additional duties include customer service, sales, working department cash register and general cleaning duties. Specific duties will be assigned each day based on business needs.
Cashier & Grocery Stocker : Cashier duties include providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register/Point of Sale system, handling money and giving accurate change, processing electronic payments and bagging customer purchases.
Stocker duties include maintaining inventory on the shelves in the store, answering customer questions, and providing assistance to other departments as necessary.
Additional duties will include, but not be limited to, general cleaning of the inside of the store, outside duties collecting shopping carts from the parking lot, emptying garbage containers inside and outside the store, maintaining gas pump print paper, windshield washer fluid and garbage containers at our gas islands. Specific duties will be assigned each day based on business need.

**Participants will live in either a condominium or a studio apartment during their program. Housing arrangements are decided by the employer upon arrival. Up to 9 participants will share a private condominium with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, and a full kitchen. Each bedroom will accommodate 2-3 participants. Wi-fi and laundry facilities are available on-site. The condominium is located 0.2 miles (30 meters) from the work location, which is an approximately five minute walk. The studio apartment is one bedroom and one bathroom. The apartment has a set of bunk beds and is equipped with two dressers, a television, a dining table, chairs, and a full kitchen. This housing will only be used for two female participants. The apartment is located approximately 0.6 miles (about 1 kilometer) from the work location. If a participant leaves their job for any reason, they will also be required to move out of the housing. If participants move out of employer housing and secure their own housing, they should provide sufficient notice of departure and leave the housing in good, clean, and undamaged condition.
