Cook: In this position, participants are responsible for producing menu items in an appropriate time frame. The Cook is responsible for cost-effective preparation of quality food in safe and efficient compliance with proper food preparation and handling, policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations. Duties include but are not limited to: being responsible for consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation and cooking, as well as monitoring and controlling maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment. Adherence to all safety protocols including handling and transportation of foods and knife work is required. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary. Participants may work at one or both of the Grand Geneva locations.
Room Attendant – Timber Ridge Lodge : In this position, participants will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, making beds, removing guest linens, dusting, and vacuuming. Duties also include but are not limited to: cleaning showers, sinks, toilets, and public areas. The Room Attendant position requires participants to safely use cleaning chemicals (including vinegar, Lysol disinfectant, Windex, ammonia, and laundry detergent). Laundry duties, general cleaning and other duties may be assigned by the employer as necessary. There will be frequent guest interactions and guest service opportunities. Excellent customer service is required!

** ** Dormitory housing will cost $150 per person, per week. $300 will be deducted from participant’s paycheck every two weeks. The housing cost is of $150 per week covers both the housing cost as well as the Commons fee, which covers utilities, wifi, gas, and laundry. The on-site dorms will have a suite with a shared cooking space, four bedrooms, a living area, and two full bathrooms. Housing is coed but bedrooms will be shared by two participants of the same gender. Housing is fully equipped with a community kitchen, a laundry facility, and a fitness center. Note: Housing costs will not be deducted until a participant’s first full paycheck. This means that the housing costs on the first full paycheck will be higher than a typical paycheck.
