Host/Hostess : Summary: The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm welcome and ensuring smooth seating flow. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a focus on guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and table rotations.
Answer phones and assist with inquiries or reservations.
Provide menus and introduce the assigned server.
Keep the host stand, entrance, dining areas, and menus clean and organized.
Conduct restroom checks and assist with light cleaning/restocking.
Assist staff by resetting tables, running food, or helping during peak times.
Address guest concerns politely and notify management as needed.
Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and management.
