Job Description

Dishwasher : We are on the hunt for applicants with previous kitchen experience to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications. As a Dishwasher at Cantina Imperfecto, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area. Your role ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand.
Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before returning them to the kitchen or dining area.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including emptying trash and recycling bins.
Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and maintain hygiene standards.
Assist with basic food prep and kitchen cleaning tasks as needed.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager.
Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils in a timely manner.
Help with organizing and storing clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies.

Line Cook : We are on the hunt for an experienced line cook to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications. You will be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining
sanitation standards. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage of ingredients and tools.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and communicate effectively with team members.
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Ensure that dishes are plated and garnished according to presentation standards.
Assist with the development and testing of new recipes and menu items.
Manage multiple orders simultaneously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Handle special dietary requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
