Deli Attendant : The Deli Attendant position duties include but are not limited to, preparing breakfast/lunch with the walk-up café serving counter including preparing tea, coffee, açai bowls, and breakfast and lunch items.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Preparing and portioning food items including stocks, salads, dressings, sandwiches, vegetables, fruits, and fryer items
– Safely using knives and small kitchen equipment
– Working effectively as part of a close-knit kitchen team with a positive, learning-focused attitude
– Following food safety guidelines
– Performing additional kitchen duties as needed
Deli attendant will not operate meat slicer.
Participants must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen, demonstrate a commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and good personal hygiene, and maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail.
The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, regularly lift up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms), and frequently bend, lift, reach, and carry items in a hot, active kitchen environment.
Host : Host responsibilities include, but are not limited to, greeting and seating restaurant guests and maintaining a wait list if necessary. Additional duties may include retrieving to-go orders and handling cash and credit transactions.
General cleaning is required and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.
Server Asssistant : Server Assistant duties include cleaning tables, taking plates, utensils, and drink ware to the kitchen, filling diners’ water glasses, and resetting tables for the next service.
Server Assistants will help servers bring food out to tables and restock utensils, napkins, and other dining room needs.
General cleaning is required and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.

**Dormitory housing will cost $125 per person, per week. $30 will be deducted from the participant’s paycheck every week for the employer’s provided shuttle. The on-site dorms have a suite with a refrigerator and microwave, two bunkbeds, a living area, and a full bathroom. Housing is coed, but bedrooms will be shared by participants of the same gender. 4 people will share each suite. Housing is fully equipped with a shared community kitchen, a common area with PS5 game console, a laundry facility, a soccer field, and a basketball court.
Transportation to work
Students can walk or ride a bike.
