Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant : Housekeeping duties include but are not limited to: cleaning guest room and bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, dusting, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming; cleaning of showers, sinks, and toilets. Cleaning of common areas and taking out trash will be required as well. Housekeeping requires participants to use cleaning chemicals.
Laundry duties include washing, drying and folding linens. Participants must be able to lift up to 25 pounds (11.3 kg) on a routine basis. Long periods of standing, bending, kneeling and walking are required. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.
Rotating Position : Front Desk/Housekeeping : Participants in this position will rotate between the Front Desk and Housekeeping positions. Front Desk duties include but are not limited to: handling reservations, answering guest questions, processing payments, and answering the phone. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned as necessary.

**Participant will share an onsite house with other J1 participants. The house has three bedrooms, one bathroom and a full kitchen. Kitchen supplies and utensils are included. Onsite laundry is available. Participant may temporarily stay in one of the onsite motel rooms before moving into permanent housing. This housing is also free of charge.
