Housekeeping : responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by cleaning rooms and common areas daily according to operational policies and standards.
Duties include cleaning bathroom showers, shower curtains, walls, mirrors, tubs, toilets, and floors, dusting room items, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors, removing garbage, cleaning inside drawers, cleaning under beds, and more.
Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary. There may be opportunities to work in other positions based on participants’ English level, experience, attitude, and work performance.

**Participants will share a hotel room on-site at the employer’s property. Each room will be shared by 4 participants and has a private bathroom. There are two bunkbeds per room. Participants will be able to do their laundry on-site at the hotel during designated times. Participants must provide their own soap and laundry supplies. Participants may use a heated indoor saltwater pool and game room. Lobby areas and guest breakfast areas are for guests only. Participants will have access to a shared communal kitchen at certain times. This kitchen includes an oven, stove top, microwave, and full sized refrigerator. Participants must clean up the area after each use. The area also has a television, two couches, and a dining room table for participants to share. Participants will receive an explanation of hotel rules and expectations for all J-1 participants upon arrival. Participants will be asked to sign this form with employer upon arrival. Return of the refundable $400 portion of the deposit depends on participants following housing rules, leaving housing in fully cleaned and undamaged condition, and providing two weeks’ notice before move-out.
