Housekeeping : Housekeeping participants will either work as a Guest Room Attendant or a Laundry Attendant in the Housekeeping department. Position will be assigned based on skill and business levels and is at the discretion of the employer. There may be times throughout the participant’s program that they are asked to work in both based on business need.
Guest Room Attendants will ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning rooms daily according to operational policies and standards. Participants will clean bathrooms including shower curtains, walls, mirrors, tubs, toilets, and floors. They will also dust room items, vacuum floors, clean inside drawers and under beds, and more. Participants may also pick up and carry bags of linens. Additional duties may be assigned at the employer’s discretion.
Laundry Attendants will be responsible for washing and folding all bed linens, towels, and cloth banquet napkins, sorting, folding, and distributing clean linens, and assisting coworkers when necessary. They will also deliver and pick up laundry and communicate with hotel guests in a kind and courteous manner. General cleaning is required. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as needed.
Laundry : Laundry Attendant duties will include washing and folding all bed linens and towels, sorting, folding, and distributing clean linens, assisting coworkers when necessary, delivering and picking up laundry, and communicating in a kind and courteous manner with hotel guests. General cleaning is required. Participants must be comfortable working with cleaning chemicals. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as needed.

**The employer provides housing on-site for participants. Each participant will share a hotel room and bathroom with one other participant. Rooms will have two full sized beds, a dresser, TV, desk and chairs, a microwave, and a mini refrigerator. Participants will have access to an employee break room where 2 free meals will be provided per day. Meals may periodically include pork, and dietary restrictions might not be able to be accommodated with available food options. Laundry is located on-site, and Wi-Fi internet is provided. Participants are responsible for cleaning their own rooms, but will be provided with linens and cleaning supplies.
