The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred. Requires a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to lift pull, and push a moderate amount of weight.

HepA vaccine needs to be acquired before participants start to work (make sure to bring the document showing you took the shot to the HR). If you decide to do it after arriving in the US, it usually costs around $100. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and provide excellent customer service. Present menus, explain menu items, and answer guest questions about food and beverages. Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to additional requests. Process guest payments accurately using the POS system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Hyatt service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
Prepare ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating, according to the hotel’s recipes and specifications. Cook dishes using various techniques such as grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking. Ensure that all dishes are cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively. Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency across all dishes. Assist in the creation of new menu items and specials, contributing ideas for seasonal or event-specific dishes. Adapt to dietary restrictions and special requests from guests.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Monitor food inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is used properly and maintained in good working order.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff, including line cooks, pastry chefs, and dishwashers, to ensure smooth operation during service.
Communicate effectively with the front-of-house staff to coordinate the timing of orders and special requests. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations.
Guest Interaction:
Occasionally interact with guests, especially during live cooking stations or special events, to provide a personalized dining experience.
Address guest feedback promptly and courteously, making adjustments as needed to ensure satisfaction.
