Cabana Attendant : The Cabana Attendant welcomes and creates a clean and safe environment, addressing the needs of the guests.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Setting up and preparing cabana for daily opening and/or properly shut down cabana at closing.
– Preparing and serving food and drinks as ordered.
– Providing guests with efficient food service by maintaining food displays, clean counters, dishes, floors, and equipment.
– Calculating the bill total and collect payment in American currency from guests.
– Maintaining and stocking food, cutlery, plates, napkins, etc.
– Providing friendly and professional customer service to all guests.
– Practicing proper workplace health and safety procedures, reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisor.

**Participants will live in International Residence Hall Housing (IRH): a. Rent and Deposit: Rent is $140 per week and paid directly to the IRH office. The amount due at check-in is $540, paid to the IRH office. This includes: $200 refundable security deposit if the room is left clean with no damages. The deposit will be returned once all participants have vacated the room; $125 one-time administrative fee; $75 one-time laundry fee; and $140 for the first week of rent. b. Rooms/Accommodations: 4 participants will share a room. Each room has 1 bathroom/shower, 1 microwave, 1 refrigerator, 1 table, 4 chairs, 4 personal wardrobes, and 4 beds. There is private RFID access into the facility and rooms, video monitoring 24 hours a day/7 days a week, a gym, a community kitchen, community areas, and an on-site mini grocery store. c. Check in: Participants may check in at any time. Participants are encouraged to complete the lease before arrival and pay the invoice before check-in (will be sent to participant by email). Participants can also complete this at check-in, but this will delay the process. d. Transportation: There is a trolley for access to local sites ($35/season). 2 options for transportation to work location: – participants can walk or bike to the nearest trolley stop (about 0.5-0.8 miles from IRH). If the Trolley is not available, host employer will work with participants to identify/arrange transportation options. -participants can use Uber/Lyft, or local drivers (usually $5-$10, split payment offered for multiple participants). Employer will provide a list of options to participants.
