In order to make a reservation, participants must complete a housing contract, which can be found online. Contact the housing provider for assistance with this step when reserving a room. Two participants can share a dormitory-style room for $80-$120 per person, per week. Roommate requests should be made on the contract. In order to be placed together, both people must request the other person as a roommate on the contract. Participants who do not want to share a room must pay $140-$200 per week for a single occupancy room. Room options are based on availability, and rates are subject to change. Exact pricing will be provided to participants when they make their reservation. There is a dresser, bed, desk, and closet for each participant in each room. The bathrooms on each floor are communal bathrooms with individual lockable stalls with a shower, sink, and toilet. A kitchen and laundry are also shared on each floor. Payment will be made to the main office at UWS, either by cash, check, or credit card. This housing is only available from May 27 to August 5. The employer will assist in providing housing after August 5 for approximately the same price. UWS is on a bus route and walking distance to McDonalds and Burger King. There is a Super One grocery store about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) away that is also on the bus route. Bike storage is available inside the dormitory, as well as outside on racks. HOUSING CHANGE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IN EARLY AUGUST When university students return in early August, participants will move into The Suites Hotel for the remainder of their program. Participants will share a hotel room with one other participant for $150 per person, per week. Each room includes two full beds, a bathroom, a mini refrigerator, and a microwave. A $100 security deposit is due to The Suites Hotel once housing is moved to the onsite location.
