Rotating Position :Participants will assist the restaurant staff and work in housekeeping.
As a Kitchen Assistant, duties include food preparation, kitchen and kitchen supplies cleaning, kitchen stocking, and menu items preparation.
As a Housekeeper and Laundry Assistant, participants will clean guest rooms and common areas and wash and fold laundry. Housekeeping requires participants to dust and use cleaning chemicals. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.
Participants must be okay living in a beautiful, rural lakeside location in northern Minnesota. Lodge is located on a recreational lake where many people spend their holidays during the summer.

**Participants will live in three individual campers located on-site. Each camper has a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, microwave, sink, and stove, air conditioning, and a full bathroom. Meals are also included in housing at no cost. Employer purchases the food and makes the lodge’s kitchen available for use. Staff shares the daily responsibility to help cook or prepare their own meals. Participants also have free access to resort facilities such as canoes, pools, and kayaks. Due to distance to the nearest town, no public transportation, and limited affordable housing options, offsite housing is not recommended. If participants choose to move out of the resort location, then the employer cannot provide transportation.
