Houseperson : The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring and work areas. Cleaning rooms includes duties such as changing bed linens and emptying trash as well as vacuuming carpets and dusting furniture. The Houseperson replaces guest supplies, i.e. soap, shampoo, bathroom tissue, etc. and maintains all staff closets. Duties also include cleaning the common areas, stairwells, elevators and landings. Secondary duties may include shoveling snow from walkways, assisting with guest transportation, assisting with guest luggage. All team members must ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. The Houseperson is responsible for executing any reasonable task requested by his/her manager or supervisor
Room Attendant : duties include but are not limited to: cleaning guest room and bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, dusting, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming; cleaning of showers, sinks, and toilets. Cleaning of common areas and taking out trash will be required as well. requires participants to use cleaning chemicals.
Steward : Stewards will be responsible for: Cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, stoves, grills, prep tables, etc. Cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen area, floors and walls. Completes other duties as assigned. Heavy duty cleaning of ovens, hoods, grills sinks, wall, floors and other heavy equipment. Vacuum carpeted areas throughout the food and beverage outlets. Wash tile floors in all food and beverage areas
Server : Servers are customer service professionals that work for restaurants, cocktail bars and other establishments. In addition to serving food and drinks, Food and beverage Servers perform tasks, such as setting up tables, removing used dishes and preparing simple dishes. They serve as the main point of contact for customers.
Server Assistant : Also known as bussers, server assistants are typically employed by family diners and restaurants to assist servers in delivering food to patrons and responding to their requests. They clear, clean, and reset tables, refill beverages
Host : Welcome guests to the venue Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists Manage reservations Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name Greet customers upon their departure Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options Maintain a clean reception area Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly) Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries Assist wait staff as needed
Club Lounge Attendant : The Club Lounge Assistant supports the daily operations of the hotel’s club lounge, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience for guests. Responsibilities include assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness and organization, replenishing supplies, and responding to guest requests. The role contributes to a high standard of service and enhances the overall guest experience.
