Job Description

Guest Room Attendant : responsibilities include changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. You will also address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. If you’re interesting in kickstarting your career in the hotel industry,

Houseperson : Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
Clean and stock restrooms. Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Notify managers of necessary repairs.
Collect and dispose of trash. Assist guests when necessary. Keep linen room stocked. Properly clean upholstered furniture.

Laundry Attendant : Laundry Workers are employed by laundry cleaning services or organizations like hospitals and hotels. Usual duties listed on a Laundry Worker resume include operating washing machines, sorting laundry, removing stains, tagging items, selecting cleaning agents, and drying clothes.

Public Area Attendant: A public area attendant’s daily tasks include: Cleaning public spaces like lobbies, restaurants, and meeting rooms. Cleaning back-of-house areas like office and employee changing rooms. Cleaning stairways, hallways, and elevators

Pool Attendant : Pool attendants are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean pool area at hotels, resorts, and private functions. They welcome guests, attend to their needs, and assist swimmers in danger.

Breakfast Cook : responsible for ensuring the highest level of food quality is delivered to guests in the morning. The Breakfast Cook acts as an ambassador in the kitchen, and is a key member of the Culinary team. Prepare and present all food products, specifically, but not limited to Breakfast service.

Bar Cook  : Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Steward/Dishwasher : Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwarshing area clean and safe.

Resturant Server : A restaurant server takes orders, answers questions about the menu and food, sells the restaurant’s food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning. Also known as a waiter or waitress.

Busser : provide support to restaurant staff by managing restaurant supplies such as napkins, straws, crockery, and cutlery, and ensure that the restaurant and supplies are clean and organized. They may also assist with serving food and refilling beverages.

Host/Hostess : Welcome guests to the venue Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists Manage reservations Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name Greet customers upon their departure Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options Maintain a clean reception area Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly) Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries Assist wait staff as needed
