Job Description

Housekeeping : Housekeepers clean guest rooms and public areas of the hotel to a high standard. The priority is to make sure each and every guest is given exceptional service, and all their needs are met to their satisfaction.

Duties include, but are not limited to: picking up after a guest, cleaning guest bathrooms including showers, sinks, and toilets, making beds, removing guest linens, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories and the bathrooms stocked with supplies, and doing some laundry. Some cleaning of common areas will be required as well. General cleaning and other duties will be assigned by the supervisor as necessary.

Housekeeping/Front Desk : This position will work in both the house keeping and front desk departments. Housekeepers clean guest rooms and public areas of the hotel to a high standard. Front Desk responsibilities include helping the front desk team respond to customer inquiries, assisting with check-in and check-out duties, and answering the phone.

General cleaning and other duties will be assigned by the supervisor as necessary.

** Participants will share a one-room hotel suite with two sets of bunk beds, one bathroom, a mini-refrigerator, and a microwave.
